Dendrobium williamsonii by Patrick Devereux The flowers on this plant are highly fragrant. They vary white to cream on to a pale  yellow with a waxy look. These flowers are produced from the upper nodes of mature  canes. The pseudobulbs and the leaves are covered densely in black hairs.   This plant is grown n perlite & pest under about 70% shade on a bench 18 inches (45  cm) from the floor. It is grown in amongst the other plants with the general attention  all the other plants get. It is a very rewarding plant to grow one of my favourite  flowers. The natural distribution of these plants is in the Assam Area of north east India across  to southern China, Thailand and Vietnam. I find this orchid easy to grow .   Happy Orchid Growing.  Dendrobium bracteosum  Dendrobium canaliculatum Dendrobium hodgkinsonii Dendrobium ruckeri Dendrobium williamsonii Dimerandra buenaventurae Eria albidotomentosa Eria lobata Galeandra dives Hoffmannseggella fournieri Isabelia pulchella More Articles
