Adelopetalum bracteatum by Warren Williams This delightful Australian species grows in SE QLD TO NE NSW region. Since I  reside in Toowoomba my cultural conditions would differ slightly to those people  living elsewhere. This species requires cool conditions and I grow my plant under  70% shade cloth all year round. My plant gets watered daily for most of the year  except in winter where I water the plant 2nd daily. Fertilizers used on the plant are  native fertilizers ( high in potassium ) once a week. This species will not grow in a  pot and requires a mount of which I use either cork or bottlebrush. If you are able to  meet its requirements in cultivation this species will reward the grower with a  delightful spray of flowers every year in October.  Growing Oncidium species in Brisbane Environmental Conditions for Vandaceous Orchids Adelopetalum bracteatum Aerangis modesta Ancistrochilus rothschildianus Ascocentrum christensonianum Bulbophyllum annandalei   Bulbophyllum dissitiflorum Bulbophyllum hamelinii  Bulbophyllum lasiochilum Bulbophyllum lobbii Bulbophyllum schillerianum Cattleya loddigesii Cattleya skinneri Coelia triptera Cymbidium erythraeum More Articles
